Creative Circus Project

Illume helps gets children excited about reading by having them participate in the creation of the story. The app generates stories for children based on the location, characters, and objects they choose. Illume also boosts the children's involvement in the story by allowing them to create characters out of cut paper which they can import into the app to use in stories. The app design alludes the cut paper with bright colors and simple shapes.

Character Creation

The camera takes a picture of the cut paper character and imports it into the app.

Story Creation

Children can choose to randomize a story or create a custom story with choices of characters, location, and objects of their choice. If they save the story they can customize the cover for their bookshelf.

Your Bookshelf

The bookshelf is where the stories you choose to save are stored.
