Last month my roommate Eleni, Mike, and I traveled up to Greensboro to visit Kelly McGrath, an amazing tattoo artist. If you haven’t seen her work, go do it now. I took only my instant camera and a film pack with 10 films in it. I really enjoy doing this on my road trips because I feel like I get to experience everything more and only take the pictures that really count. Far too often I find myself experiencing life through a viewfinder, and it’s nice to take a step away from that and relax while still capturing some moments of the trip.

I took most of the polaroids at the pit stop on the way back — Goats on a Roof! It’s a little road stop somewhere around the border of Georgia and North Carolina and it was definitely a fun stop. I mean, any time you get to feed goats is a good time.

Thanks to Mike who ended up behind the camera on most of these pictures! I wish this camera could have fit us all in.
